You want your life and relationships to feel calmer, more connected, and more joyful. But right now, you may feel stressed, stuck, or unsure of the next step. I understand how overwhelming that can be, and I’m here to help guide you forward. Through a compassionate and collaborative approach, I’ll give you tools that bring clarity, peace, and confidence – so you can show up as the person you truly want to be, at home and in life.

I view the world through a systemic lens and see how deeply we are all connected. I enjoy working with couples, families, and individuals at any stage of life. Because I’ve been on both sides of the therapy chair, I understand the roller coaster of emotions clients experience when they begin this process. That’s why I prioritize creating a safe, supportive environment where you can explore challenges, grow, and discover new possibilities.

When working with children, I use Child-Centered Play Therapy and Filial Therapy to address disruptive behaviors such as ADHD, anxiety, anger, and school or social difficulties. I also partner with parents as part of the process, because I believe early positive experiences in therapy can set the foundation for resilience and confidence throughout life.

With teens and young adults, I enjoy helping them discover who they are and where they’re headed – supporting career exploration, life goals, and their God-given talents. For couples, I incorporate tools from the Gottman Method and premarital counseling to strengthen communication, deepen connection, and prepare for a thriving future together.

Heather is a wife and mother of three, originally from the Florida Panhandle. Her Catholic faith is central to who she is, and she looks forward to incorporating spiritual tools into the healing process when clients desire.

Heather holds a Master’s degree in Marriage, Couples, and Family Therapy with a Certificate in Play Therapy from the University of Central Florida. Her experience includes:

When I’m not in the therapy room, you’ll often find me enjoying a lavender latte, cheering on the Seminoles during football season, or building LEGO sets with my husband and kids (I’m currently working on the botanical series!). I also have a major sweet tooth and a love for all things chocolate.

I hold close the wisdom of Sister Lucia dos Santos, who said the final battle will be over marriage and the family, and Mother Teresa’s reminder: “If you want to change the world, go home and love your family.” I believe healing starts in our homes-and that small steps of love and growth ripple outward into the world.

I look forward to meeting each person God brings my way and walking together on the journey toward peace, healing, and deeper relationships.
